NATURE OF BAKSI

On the site, one of the most important features that make Baksı a unique museum is shown as its structure that is open to dialogue and interactions with its geography. The continuation of his knowledge continues: "Accordingly, the works in the collection are undoubtedly beyond being just objects for viewing in the Main Building or Warehouse-Museum; they open doors to other dialogues with people and nature in that geography." Each work takes on different meanings in the museum and different meanings in nature, depending on the angle from which it is positioned or viewed. Kemal Tufan's Submarine; Like Tuğrul Selçuk's Tree of Life, Aloş's Snake or Koray Ariş's Two Headed. "The relationship with nature and the works that experience this nature are part of Baksı's original and contemporary museum perception, which is based on the 'open structure' understanding and equates art with life."

It was planned as a section where the collections of the museum are preserved and shared with the audience. LIBRARY
The purpose of building the library, which contains approximately 10 thousand publications aimed especially at encouraging children's use, is to enrich art lovers through donations of books, magazines and audio-visual materials. Educational programs are organized in the technically equipped hall with a capacity of 150 seats, which hosts seminars, conferences, panels, symposiums and shows. Efforts are also being made to make this hall a common social meeting point where surrounding villages come together on important days and celebrations.
