Painter Burhan Özer's recent works, focusing on the depths of the relationship between light, water, and color, are presented to art lovers in the exhibition "Where the Light Falls."
Burhan Özer, a master of watercolor, invites art lovers on a journey in the footsteps of light with his new solo exhibition, "Where the Light Falls." The exhibition, held at PonART Academy Gallery, consists of the artist's recent works focusing on the depths of the relationship between light, water, and color.
Burhan Özer creates a powerful narrative language with his unique technique that combines the effect of light on space, water, and perception with the fluid nature of watercolor. In watercolor works, the use of color is usually limited; in a sense, fewer colors are preferred. However, Burhan Özer transcends this limit in his works. The saying "the source of color is light" is once again proven in his works.
This special exhibition will be open to visitors at the PonART Academy Gallery until January 7, 2026.
