Who is Ali Düzgün?

Ali Düzgün, one of the academic painters, is one of the important living representatives of Turkish painting with 32 personal exhibitions as well as over 100 group exhibitions. Here are sections from Ali Düzgün’s life;

He graduated from Ankara Gazi Education Institute, Art Education Department in 1977. He worked as a lecturer in the same department in 1980. After working as an art teacher in secondary schools and high schools in Ankara, he completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education in 1987. In the same year, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Art Education. He received his Proficiency in Art degree in 1989 and completed his master’s degree at Gazi University Social Sciences Institute in 1990.
Between 1994 and 2002, he served as Head of the Department of Fine Arts Education at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Education. Between 1995 and 1998, he worked as Deputy Dean at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Education. He opened 32 personal painting exhibitions. He participated in more than 100 group painting exhibitions.
His works are in official and private collections at home and abroad, especially in the Ministry of Culture. He served on the board of directors of GESAM. The artist, who has many awards and honorable mentions, currently continues his art studies as an Assistant Professor at Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational Education, Department of Applied Arts Education, Department of Professional Painting.
