Young artists who have been working with the SaDe program throughout the semester, receiving both financial support and the support of mentors, will also have the opportunity to present their work to an audience in this beautiful venue for a month. I wholeheartedly thank both the artists, Mercedes-Benz Türk, with whom we collaborated on this program, and Saint Benoît High School, which has provided significant support for this exhibition by opening the doors of the venue to us.”

The exhibition will be open to visitors free of charge until December 21st.

Artists who received support from the SaDe program in the 2024-2025 period will be exhibiting their works at La Galerie, the Private Saint Benoît French High School, thanks to the contributions of their mentors Serkan Taycan, Emre Hüner, Aslıhan Demirtaş, Nazlı Pektaş, Evrim Kavcar, and Günseli Baki, who have supported the program throughout the semester. About SaDe (Artist Support Fund)
The SaDe (Artist Support Fund), implemented by İKSV and in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Türk, was launched in 2022 with the aim of contributing to the development of visual arts artists. In 2024, SaDe launched a call for artists under 35 who were affected by the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes of February 2023, and the number of artists to receive support for this year was increased from five to six. As part of the program, six selected artists are receiving €5,000 each to contribute to their projects in the design phase. Throughout the production process, the artists have the opportunity to work with expert mentors to develop their projects and are also connected with culture and arts professionals, institutions, and producers from whom they may seek support. The fund's projects, created in various art forms, formats, and techniques, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, and printmaking, were evaluated by a jury comprised of artist and academic Şive Neşe Baydar, artist Burçak Bingöl, artist Sinem Dişli, art field manager and artist Erkan Özgen, and artist and academic Evrim Kavcar.
