In collaboration with Yapı Kredi’s “Snowball for Tomorrow” (*Yarınlara Kartopu*) project, Pera Museum will bring children aged 3–6 together for free book-reading and creative activity workshops.
The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum Learning Programs is organizing a new workshop series for children. Held as part of the “Snowball for Tomorrow” project—launched by Yapı Kredi to support child development—the “Book Reading Workshop with Burcu Ural Kopan” will combine a museum tour with children's literature and creative activities.
These free workshops for children aged 3–6 will take place on September 16, October 15, November 11, and December 17 at 13:30. During the program, children will explore the museum’s collections, listen to the book *Good Night Bozi* (*İyi Geceler Bozi*) by Yalvaç Ural, and subsequently participate in creative activities.
A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY: FROM MUSEUM TO BOOK
The workshop will begin with a guided tour of the Pera Museum’s permanent collection exhibitions: “Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters” and “Osman Hamdi Bey.” Following the exhibition tour, the book *Good Night Bozi*, written by Yalvaç Ural, will be read by Burcu Ural Kopan in an interactive storytelling session that encourages children's participation.
After the reading, the children will engage in painting and creative activities inspired by the story and what they observed in the exhibitions. The program aims to encourage children to observe, use their imaginations, and express their emotions and thoughts through various creative mediums. TO BE HELD ON FOUR DIFFERENT DATES
The workshops, each lasting 90 minutes, will be free of charge and limited to 30 participants. Advance reservation is required. Reservations can be made via the "Yapı Kredi Yarınlara Kartopu" website. Detailed information about the workshop is available through the Pera Museum Learning Programs.
The program, led by Burcu Ural Kopan, will take place on four different dates between September 16 and December 17.
