    • Who is Mustafa Tunç? (1988-Safranbolu)Born in Safranbolu in 1988. Graduated from Safranbolu İMKB Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 2007. Graduated from Karabük University, Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Painting Department in 2011 as the second-ranked student in his/her faculty. In 2012, he won first place in the Master’s program at Marmara University, Atatürk Faculty of Education, Painting and Art Education Department. He then won a place in the doctoral program at the same faculty and graduated in 2022. The artist has participated in many activities such as national and international group and mixed exhibitions, workshops, and projects. Since 2019, he has been working as a research assistant in the Painting Department of Karabük University, Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and as of 2023, he continues to work as an Assistant Professor in the same department. He is expected to receive his Associate Professorship title in March 2026.Art Perspective; In today’s consumerist world, the lives of nature and animals are disregarded. Therefore, to highlight excessive consumption, this exhibition aims to visually interpret the waste left in nature, expressing how our landscape is changing. Globally, consumption is increasing day by day, endangering nature more and more. Considering this situation, the main goal of this exhibition is to consider reducing consumption and recycling consumed waste. Some works focus entirely on the waste we consume, while others directly address the recycling of waste materials. Gold leaf is used in the paintings to show how valuable consumed or waste objects are.
