The solo exhibition titled "Timeless Forms," organized to bring art to art lovers in Ankara, has begun.

Curated by Berna Demirhan, Hayati Misman's solo exhibition will be on display at Timora Art Gallery from March 28, 2026 to April 25, 2026.
"Timeless Forms," with its selection of bronze sculptures, engravings, and paintings, invites viewers to reconsider the relationship between form and time on an interdisciplinary level.
Misman's creative process, deepened by his education in Kassel and matured through his academic and artistic career in Turkey, makes him not only a master of engraving but also one of the most original narrators of contemporary Turkish painting. The artist's interdisciplinary works push the technical boundaries of the material and offer an aesthetic richness that extends to three-dimensional expressions. In this context, the artist's production continues to exist as a living and transforming thought practice that should be read within the continuity of art history. In Hayati Misman's art, time is not limited by lines and colors. He uses flow as a tool and a language of expression in his own universe. For him, figure, abstract, and nature are not separate categories. They are different manifestations of the same existence. Birds, female bodies, moving figures, and geometric compositions appear as visual representations of the artist's inner rhythm and intense emotions. Female figures carry their contemporary identity as a plastic structure; beyond social and individual roles, they represent freedom, loneliness, and resistance. The figures are situated within a collective existence that touches each other. Colors penetrate the figure as they circulate on the surface. They create a space that reconstructs it and thus become one of the most powerful carriers of the painting. The bold contrasts observed in the color palette create resonance.

While the drawing forms the main backbone of the studies, the line appears as the first stroke; It marks the beginning of expression, excitement, and vital energy. The lines are dynamic, rhythmic, and spontaneous expressions. The forms are sometimes fierce, sometimes gentle, but always sincere and natural. When all these come together, they create stains, tones, and masses. In this process, the delicate balance established between chance and control determines the final form of the work. In Hayati Misman's works, movement and time also play a decisive role. The human figures in his compositions seem to dance with dynamics that capture the moment. Thus, the artist visualizes temporal depth and the rhythm of movement. The time differences between the figures standing in the foreground and background, the contrasts of flat and expressive surfaces, brushstrokes, and abstract-figure relationships offer the viewer multiple experiences of time and space.

The artist's approach to engraving and printing techniques is an interactive process. He establishes a relationship between the surface, the chemistry of the material, and technical possibilities with artistic thought; therefore, his touches reflect patience. Because printing is a matter of persistence; it requires courage, perseverance, and physical effort.
Ultimately, the resulting work is the outcome of a vibrant struggle.
