The group exhibition titled "Balkan Lights: One Geography, A Thousand Stories, Limitless Colors of the Balkans," which opened at Ege University Atatürk Cultural Center, reflects the cultural diversity of the Balkan geography through art by bringing together works from different disciplines.
The international group exhibition, "Balkan Lights: One Geography, A Thousand Stories, Limitless Colors of the Balkans," opened to art lovers on March 3, 2026, at Ege University Atatürk Cultural Center. Curated by Mona Muzo, the exhibition was realized through the organization of İZARTİST Art Association.
The exhibition features works from a total of 94 artists from Turkey and abroad, representing various disciplines. Aimed at reflecting the cultural richness and multifaceted stories of the Balkan geography through art, the exhibition's opening included a live performance by painter Tansu Özmen.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Mona Muzo, President of the IZARTIST Art Association, drew attention to the fact that art is a universal language, stating, “Art is a shared space of thought beyond borders,” and emphasized the unifying power of art.
The “Balkan Lights” exhibition, which brings together different art disciplines, can be visited at the Ege University Atatürk Cultural Center until March 27, 2026.
