The art world's eagerly awaited group exhibition "IV" met with art lovers at a grand opening on November 1st at Evrim Art Gallery's new Caddebostan location. The exhibition, featuring works by Yalçın Gökçebağ, Gözde Atlas, Mümin Candaş, and Günsu Saraçoğlu, welcomed the gallery's 2025 winter season.
At the opening, a large audience of art critics, collectors, art enthusiasts, and members of the press witnessed a profound aesthetic dialogue around the works of four master artists. The works, created in diverse disciplines such as canvas, mixed media, abstract, and figurative, demonstrated the unifying power of art, providing viewers with a multilayered and unforgettable experience.
The exhibition takes its name from both the "IV" (four) artists who came together and the classical and timeless connotations carried by the "IV" symbol in Roman numerals. Under this roof, the tension and harmony between the traditional and the contemporary, the abstract and the concrete, are reinterpreted through select works.
Speaking at the opening, Betül Ketenci, founder of Evrim Art Gallery, said, "We are delighted to meet you in our new space, embarking on this journey to witness and be a part of the evolution of art. The intense interest we experienced tonight demonstrated the truthfulness of our promise. The "IV" exhibition is not just a season opening for us; it is also a new commitment we have made to art lovers. In this special gathering, we aimed to bring together the works of four highly esteemed artists, each with their own unique fields, to provide viewers with a rich and captivating experience, and we are proud to have achieved this." The highly acclaimed "IV" Group Exhibition, held at the heart of art's new location, can be visited at the Evrim Art Gallery until November 19, 2025.
