The "Taste and Art: Delicious Paintings" exhibition will open to art lovers at the İş Sanat Ankara Art Gallery starting September 16th.

The Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum's temporary exhibition "Taste and Art: Delicious Paintings" concluded its Istanbul run on August 20th. Curated by Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu, the exhibition featured over 200 works by 90 artists. Art lovers viewed works by prominent figures in Turkish art, including Osman Hamdi Bey, Şeker Ahmed Paşa, Selahattin Teoman, Cevat Dereli, Nazlı Ecevit, Eren Eyüboğlu, Hikmet Onat, Hasan Vecih Bereketoğlu, and Mehmed Muazzez.

A wide selection from the exhibition, which reached 70,000 visitors in Istanbul and generated considerable interest with its thematic conferences and art workshops for children, will be on display at the İş Sanat Ankara Art Gallery, located within the Economic Independence Museum in Ulus, starting September 16th. "We prioritize expanding our activities to Anatolia."

İş Sanat General Manager Zuhal Üreten expressed her satisfaction with the reception "Tat ve Sanat: Tasteful Paintings" has received in Istanbul and stated that the exhibition will continue its journey in Ankara. Emphasizing the importance İş Sanat places on expanding its activities beyond Istanbul, she said: "We are opening our temporary exhibitions, completed in Istanbul, to visitors in various cities, particularly Ankara. This September, 'Tat ve Sanat' will be moving to Ankara, while the 'Painting of Istanbul' exhibition will be going to Antalya. Furthermore, as part of the learning programs of the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum, we are opening special selections from the İş Bankası Artworks Collection to visitors throughout Anatolia through 'Art for Everyone: Anatolian Exhibitions,' which we have implemented. We are delighted by the enthusiastic and meticulously prepared selections we have received."

Üreten announced that some renovations will be made to the permanent exhibition at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum and announced the release of a new temporary exhibition. Üreten said, "Preparations for our museum's new exhibition, titled 'Side by Side,' are progressing rapidly. Our exhibition, which will open to the public on September 20th, brings together works by two important couples from the art world, Eren and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu and Melahat and Eşref Üren, from the İş Bankası Art Collection, as well as works from private collections."
