Two exhibitions, "Utopia Workshops" and "Silent Dreams, Silent Lives, Great Stories," opened at the Baksı Museum. The opening ceremonies were performed by members of the provincial dignitaries.

The "Utopia Workshops" exhibition brought together young and established artists. The artists' works, created in a natural and contemplative setting, were exhibited. The exhibition was curated by Amelie Stromrin. "Silent Dreams, Great Stories" featured Helga Franke's lacework and hand embroidery. Sabahattin Tölük, a native of Erzurum, decided that it would be more fitting for his wife's hand embroidery to remain in this land, having passed away two years earlier. Helga Franke donated her hand embroidery and lacework to the museum's founder, Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin Koçan. Franke's lacework and hand embroidery were displayed in the museum's storage facility for the guests to enjoy.

Following the opening ceremony by the provincial dignitaries, the exhibition areas were visited. Guests were briefed about the works by the museum's founder, Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin Koçan, and the exhibition curators.

Baksı Museum founder Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin Koçan explained that they opened the exhibition, titled "Utopia Workshops," as part of a three-year project. Koçan explained that the theme of the exhibition, "Silent Lives, Great Stories," is a love story. Koçan explained that they brought together master artists and students in the "Utopia Workshops" exhibition. "Today, we are opening two exhibitions. One is a project we've been working on for three years, and the other is a love story that, in my opinion, has become exhausted by our time. We began the "Utopia Workshops" project three years ago. Education was disrupted when there were disturbances in the earthquake zone. As the museum, we wanted to invite graduate students here and connect them with influential Turkish professors from around the world. We thought this would both boost students' morale and provide a way to share knowledge for the future. It has been very successful. Turkey's most important artists have taught here." Koçan also provided information about the "Silent Lives, Great Stories" exhibition and discussed the process of creating it. Koçan said, "Our second exhibition is a love story. One day, a Turkish citizen from Sydney called me. He told me he had lost his wife and had some beautiful handicrafts. He wanted his wife's works to be exhibited in the museum. I found them very interesting, and he sent me a few examples. We created an exhibition of extremely deep and emotional handicrafts. I think these two exhibitions are very colorful and emotional."

Amelie Stromrin, curator of the Utopia Workshops exhibition, noted that students from Turkey and abroad were working at the museum. Stromrin emphasized that the students were intertwined with nature, trying to stay in the moment and creating their artistic creations with modern touches.

The opening ceremony was attended by Bayburt Governor Mustafa Eldivan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Fatih Aslan, Provincial Police Chief Barış Erkol, Journalists Association President Murat Okutmuş, Kenan Yavuz, Founder of the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum, and members of the public.
