The "Dear Pinocchio" exhibition opens at Rami Library! Celebrating the 140th anniversary of Pinocchio with Italian creativity. 21 designs and 62 graphic works can be visited free of charge until May 30.
According to the statement made by the library, the exhibition will open its doors tomorrow at the F1 Exhibition Hall within the scope of the "2025 World Capitals of Italian Creativity Festival" in collaboration with the ADI Design Museum in Milan and the Italian Cultural Center in Istanbul.
The opening will take place with the participation of the Italian Cultural Center Director Salvatore Schirmo and ADI Design Museum Director Andrea Cancellato.
The festival, which was launched by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2023, is being organized in Istanbul, San Francisco, Buenos Aires, New Delhi and Pretoria this year.
Curated by Giulio Iacchetti, the exhibition presents a special collection dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Pinocchio. The exhibition includes 21 different Pinocchio-themed design objects and 62 original graphic design projects. These works demonstrate how Italian design creatively and innovatively reinterprets cultural icons.
Offering both a nostalgic journey and an opportunity to experience the power of contemporary design and artistic creativity, the exhibition can be visited free of charge until May 30.
