Prominent features of his art:
• Anatolian village life
• Nature and seasonal atmosphere (especially snow landscapes)
• Female figure and family memory
• Land, labor, and the life cycle
The artist's winter landscapes, in particular, are interpreted as a symbolic expression of the desire for rest and peace stemming from his childhood experiences as an agricultural worker. Female figures are often associated with his mother and family memory.

From a technical point of view:
• The combined use of watercolor and oil paint
• Hard and fast brushstrokes
• A broad perspective compositional approach
are among the distinctive features of his painting language.
