You can call Orhan’s paintings abstract expressionist in the traditional sense… but Orhan’s pictorial attitude and behavior take him beyond stereotyped perceptions a creative act, a performance artist and a hepining… this is a living art that makes us experience emotions that cannot be obtained in the face of a work produced and exhibited in a workshop, that allows us to internalize the vital traces of an action, a performance, and that allows us to consume the aesthetic vibrations of the flesh and blood, the here and now, and even the moment. Orhan has broken some of the selfish laws of art, and he is someone who enjoys having his library plundered… we witness the same taste in his artistic act… he shares his creativity with the masses as a process as well as a visual and emotional one… I describe this as sharing art by having his creativity plundered. Orhan should be described as a creative artist, not a painter. The first condition of creativity is to think, act and say outside the rules. In this sense, Orhan’s works are always enthusiastic, crowded, polyphonic, social, giving, and rubbing salt in the wound. Art is the remedy for life. and Orhan is a very brave and creative value of ours in producing solutions… may his hands, arms, heart and mind be blessed Orhan… I don’t know if you know Shaman, he is the sorcerer, doctor and sage of the Shaman tribe… In my opinion, Orhan is the Shaman of today’s world…

Harran University Faculty of Fine Arts Faculty MemberIn addition to carrying the cultural characteristics of the geography he lived in in his works, Cebrailoğlu also gave meaning to images by abstracting them in a generally universal sense from an artistic perspective. Just as “Impression” impressionism was born, developed and grew in France under the leadership of Claude Monet in the 19th century and later spread to the whole world, the emergence, development and growth of this art approach that we call “Action-Performance”, which was put forward by Orhan Cebrailoğlu in the Anatolian geography, will be one of the most important issues in Türkiye, since it is not categorized and cannot be traced. And thus this “Action-Performance” art approach can spread to the world.The impressiveness of the textures together with the fragmentation of the work, the cosmic explosion of colors and the depth of human emotions through shape seem to explore the cosmos. The images created by the master artist with each brush stroke, the free splash of paint on the canvas in a harmonious manner, are seen to be inspired by the beauty and infinity of the universe. During this interactivity, the audience embarks on a journey with the artist in the unknown universe, arousing curiosity.
