Themes and Style in His Art;

Muhittin Selamet's work has a unique approach that combines expressionist and surrealist elements. His works are generally characterized by color, loneliness, inner fantasy world, and traces of human psychology; inviting the viewer to a visual experience between dream and reality, subconscious and observation.

Themes frequently seen in his paintings include:
• Inner feelings and subconscious imagery,
• Transitions between dreams and reality,
• Loneliness and inner dialogue,
• The emotionally charged encounter of darkness and light;
this adds both metaphorical and psychological depth to his works.

The artist's creative language is shaped not only by technical skill but also by emotional intensity and the expression of personal perspective. Selamet's use of color and composition can be read as an expressionist means of expression within the context of contemporary Turkish painting.

His Role as an Educator and Social Contribution;

Selamet, who pioneered the establishment of the Kaleiçi Art House in Antalya, trained countless painters in his studio; this shows that he was not only a producer but also a guiding and teaching figure.

Art circles highly value his role as an educator, his contribution to the development of young artists, and his influence on the development of the local art scene.
