Manifesto And Art Policy
The artist is among those who represent conceptual art in Turkish painting. In contemporary conceptual art, she reflects her works, which are based on the reflections of parapsychology, through images. She perceives these images as intermediary forms shaped by the conflict experienced with the reality of life, serving as projections of the reality within us.
The artist critiques the position of humanity, which she believes to be one of the most polluted species on Earth, through the lens of parapsychology, seeking to elevate ordinary details to an inner depth. In her works, the emphasis is always on the need for purification and cleansing. However, she follows an artistic policy that reflects the discomfort stemming from the impossibility of complete purification to art lovers.
She uses water as an image and metaphor to reflect the concept of loneliness, which has become one of the greatest problems of our age, through parapsychology. The artist states that loneliness is often like an island isolated from the outside world, emphasizing Nietzsche's words: "Loneliness is the oldest nobility of the world."
"Now let the rainwater cleanse the dirty soul of man; let our reflection in the water replace us with a cleaner reality, imprisoning our dark side in the water."
