Art Perspective:
Today, the intense activity of human life and exposure to a multitude of stimuli with diverse characteristics have brought the issue of identity to the forefront. This issue of identity is experienced as a very complex and conflicting process, and it seems likely that this will continue for a long time to come.
My artistic production draws inspiration from the processes of female identity, the search for self, and confronting our shadow aspects. Inner conflicts, repressed emotions, and the individual’s struggle to understand themselves form the foundation of my work. Carl Jung’s concept of the “shadow” and his theory of the self provide a crucial foundation for understanding this inner exploration. I strive to express my inquiries into both the individual and social existence of women through these psychological depths. The tree is a symbolic element central to this narrative. This living entity, whose roots extend into the past, whose trunk extends into the present, and whose branches extend into the future, symbolizes the layered structure and transformation of the self. The tree image also reminds us of our connection to nature and our inner nature; it carries within itself the entire cycle of life like a silent witness. The visual and thematic connections I establish between the female body and the tree trunk allow me to explore identity construction in both physical and spiritual dimensions.

I strive to offer a perspective on the nature of women by addressing the situation of women, who have been repressed and traumatized throughout human history, through their own inner worlds.
