Artistic Perspective:
A fairytale-like relief surrealism dominates Filiz Bingöl's art. In her works, she combines the imaginative narrative of surrealism with fairytale elements, story-based compositions, and illusionary effects that draw the viewer in. By blending figurative narrative with abstract textures, she creates both visual and emotional depth.
Relief technique plays a significant role in her work; In her acrylic and oil paintings, she passionately utilizes imposto techniques (thick paint and surface materials) to achieve rich textures. Collage, experimental surface applications, and multi-layered compositions add both visual and tactile dimension to her works. Through digital illustration and handmade art objects, she reshapes traditional art forms with contemporary interpretations.
In her artistic production, she combines the influences of surrealism, fairytale realism, figurative narrative, abstract expression, and optical illusion, leaving the viewer with a powerful narrative and visual experience.
For Filiz Bingöl, painting is not merely an aesthetic production; it is a spiritual visual language of storytelling, emotion, and imagination. In her works, she aims to establish a direct connection with the viewer, drawing them into her own imaginary world. Her fairytale-like and surrealist approach combines the real and the imaginary, the figurative and the abstract; each work offers a world that can be experienced both visually and tactilely.
She also sees art as a tool for sharing and education; through her workshops and illustration sessions, she teaches storytelling to both children and adults. His diverse techniques (relief, acrylic, oil, digital illustration) and experimental use of materials are part of his constant process of exploring and reinterpreting art. In short, his artistic vision can be summarized as "an experimental and story-driven art approach that engages with the viewer by combining imagination and reality, narrative and emotion."
