Who is Eren Kenar? (2001-İstanbul)

Eren Kenar (2001, Istanbul) approaches the image as a fluid entity, deliberately distancing it from fixed meanings. Rather than constructing cohesive narratives, his practice unfolds through fragmented storytelling and intuitive associations.
In his paintings, the figure often remains incomplete, transforming through reflection, distortion, and abstraction. Avoiding overt explanations, he focuses on the emotional intensity carried by ambiguity. Situated in the gap between image and meaning, his works leave the viewer alone with the call of unfinished narratives.
