Who is Emel Ekinci Keysan? (1973-Uşak)

Born in Uşak in 1973. Graduated from Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Painting and Crafts Education in 1997. Worked as an art teacher in various cities. Currently working as a visual arts teacher in Denizli.

She produces abstract figurative works with oil, acrylic and watercolor techniques.
In her paintings, she questions the existential problems and social roles of women by using the metaphor of women turning into marble and stone, while including ancient elements, nature and animal figures, aiming to reflect the cosmic connection of man with the universe and his love of nature throughout the ages.

The artist still continues her work in her own studio.
