Burak Selimoğlu

Who is Burak Selimoğlu? (1985-)

He was born in 1985 in Ardeşen district of Rize. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ardeşen and his high school education in Trabzon Fine Arts High School. Between 2004-08, he continued his education in the art teaching department of Abant İzzet Baysal University’s fine arts department. He has been working as an Art Teacher in Istanbul Beylikdüzü between 2010-23 and in Ordu Ünye since 2023, and takes part in various exhibitions and art organizations. He still continues his studies in Ünye.

Artistic Perspective
In his works, he constructs the intense life dynamics in cities and people’s social life with scenes from different times and places in a fairytale-like atmosphere.
