Who is Ayfer Demircioğlu? (1959-Sakarya)
She studied at Ankara Girls Technical High Teachers School in the 3rd grade. She worked as the President of Bursa D.G.S.G. Protection and Development Association for 4 years, and as the Bursa Women Painters Association for 8 years. She has 37 personal exhibitions, 170 group exhibitions in Turkey, and 7 exhibitions abroad. She serves as the coordinator of art projects. She is a member of the International Plastic Artists Association (UPSD), and the United Painters and Sculptors Association (BRHD). She is a founding member of Bursa Fine Arts Union Association, and currently serves as the President of Bursa Fine Arts Union Association.
Art Perspective;
She was a painter known for her works that were especially about Bursa’s village houses and landscapes until 2010. In this way, she reflected the cultural heritage of the region with her art. These works are of archival quality. After 2010, figurative painting has taken an important place in Demircioğlu’s works. She still continues her works in this style.
