Manifest;
In recent years, diverging from traditional canvas materials to rediscover their artistic expression, artists have focused their work on specially selected three-dimensional industrial wood products. This innovative approach enables a unique dialogue between the conscious and spontaneous compositions of colors and tones, geometric forms, and calligraphic elements. The artist’s works present an intense visual language, aiming to create a space perception that is flat yet dynamic, supported by monochromaticbackgrounds alongside geometric and calligraphic elements.
In these pieces, color layers of geometric shapes are delineated with black and grey contours, ensuring the compositions acquire a closed and complete quality. Thin geometric shapes in closely related tones placed on light-colored planes, divided by grey lines, add layered depth and complexity to the artwork. Horizontal and vertical lines forming planar structures reflect the desire to create a plane painting on the surface of the work.
With a sure consistency in color and contour, the artist generates continuous movement and dynamism within the works. Different-sized geometric shapes painted in primary colors such as yellow, blue, red, white, grey, brown, and black imbue the pieces with vivacity and energy. These works emerge through an experimental approach that combines various shapes and arrangements bearing calligraphic traces. This artistic practice presents an original synthesis of traditional and modern techniques, inviting viewers through the depths of geometric form and color. The works also demonstrate the artist’s determination to push the boundaries of art and seek new forms of expression.
