The exhibition, realized with the contributions of the Circassian Association and the Federation of Caucasian Associations (KAFFED), focuses on the words of the master of Abkhazian literature, Bagrat Shinkuba, "He who loses his homeland, loses everything," shedding light on the common history and memory of exile of the Caucasian peoples.

"A reflection of our shared culture"
Speaking to our newspaper at the opening of the exhibition, artist Batal Capua described his artistic journey and the meaning of the exhibition with these words:

"I am from Abkhazia, my whole family were artists. I also turned to painting. This exhibition is a reflection of our shared culture for both our people living in the Caucasus and our people exiled from the Caucasus. We are in Ankara, the capital of a great nation, and we are very happy to be here."
